PacDrive Controller Family Overview
The PacDrive Controller, microprocessor-based control hardware with the VxWorksreal-time operating system, centrally implements the PLC and motion functions. A Schneider PacDrive Controller synchronizes, coordinates, and creates the motion functions formaximum:
• 8 drives for the PacDrive Controller C200
• 2 drives for the PacDrive Controller C200 A2
• 16 drives for the PacDrive Controller C400
• 8 drives for the PacDrive Controller C400 A8
• 99 drives for the PacDrive Controller C600
of a food and packaging machine.
Many different HMIs are used for the HMI tasks. Whether it is low-cost clear text orIPC, it is no problem for the flexible PacDrive Controller.
The PacDrive P600 Controller is additionally equipped with a full-fledged PC. Due toits PC-based architecture, it can perform HMI tasks with no problem in addition to theusual motion functions.
