Description:IC697BEM711 is a 90-70 series bus receiver module (BRM) designed by GE Fanuc.
As a high-speed parallel bus expansion interface, the IC697BEM711 comfortably expands from the main rack to up to 7 additional IC697 PLC racks with up to 50 feet of interconnect cable. The IC697BEM711 comes with convenient configuration software and requires no DIP switches.
The IC697BEM711 module has a maximum weight of only 4 pounds and has a socket with two connectors. It is important to note that the IC697BEM711 BRM must always be installed in slot 1. Another distinguishing feature of the IC697BEM711 is the use of LEDs to indicate the continuous status of the module, rack and the presence of the required I/O bus terminator plug. The IC697BEM711 maintains the last state of operation of the output module in case of possible loss of communication with the CPU. It also allows isolation and repair of faulty modules within the rack.
